LeafletingLeafleting
Lots of people either go veggie/vegan, boycot animal testing and get involved
in campaigns after reading a leaflet about animal cruelty, so its really important
that people get access to them, which is where you come in.
* You could deliver leaflets door to door in your neighbourhood. (But please
don't go unacompanied and never late at night.)
* You could hand leaflets out in your local town centre.
* Take some leaflets to work/school/college/uni and pin them to noticeboards.
* Give leaflets to family and friends.
* Leave a leaflet on the bus/train, for someone else to pick up and read.
* Leave some leaflets in the loo!
* Ash any sympathetic shops if they would take a pile for their customers to
read.
If you want to do some leafleting for SARC, please contact us!
Videos
[back

You can order
free videos from lots of campaign groups. Hillside
offer free videos about farming and clearly show the reasons to go veggie/vegan.
You could offer to show them to your friends and family, or ask you tutor if
you could show them in class.
If you have a few friends interested in learning the reality of the meat industry, you could invite them over, show them a video and prepare some cruelty free food to show them that you could even follow that up by writing some protest letters.
Library
displays
[back

Why not pop down to your local library or even your school/college library and
ask if you can put up a display. Its not as difficult as it sounds. At minimum
all you need is a few posters to put up, a selection of leaflets and perhaps
a few petitions for people to sign. Its really easy, and of course we are always
here to help. If you have some luck in securing yourself a library display,
to fill out our form and we'll help you get everything you need.

Got
an assignment coming up that you can give an animal rights slant? If you have
to give a class presentation animal cruelty is a topic which really gets everyones
attention and focus, and it gives you a chance to show your mates the video's
and get them reading leaflets and signing petitions. If you want to do a project
on an animal rights issue, click here to fill out our request
form and we can help you track down all the resources you will
need.
School/college talks
[back

Why not request a speaker to come to your school/college to give a talk to your
class! Lots of groups offer speakers including SARC. So if you would like a
representative from SARC to come to your school to talk about an animal rights
issus, please ask your tutor, alternatively if you would like us to contact
your school/college click
